Annual Vancouver Police auction brings out thousands

COQUITLAM (NEWS1130) – The annual Vancouver Police auction of recovered, stolen goods has bargain hunters lining up in Coquitlam.  More than 500 bikes are on the block, but there are some weird and wacky items up for bid as well.

Colin Hole with Able Auctions says there’s been a lot of interest in the furry animal costumes.  “I know there are a few people that want to come in and see them.  They’ve been wearing them all throughout the preview, running around, so it’s been pretty funny.”

The suits go on sale Sunday at 10 a.m., along with guitars, jewellery and other unusual finds.  Admission is $10 and takes place at Able Auctions at 1500 Lougheed Highway in Coquitlam.

The auction runs all weekend.  For more information click here.
