Border guard used post to hit on women

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – Border guards are supposed to check for passports and undeclared goods.  But one guard who was caught using his post to check out women.

According to documents obtained by the Vancouver Sun through the access to information act — a woman traveller first complained about a border guard last October who tried to friend request her on Facebook.

She wrote him back and asked him how he knew her. He wrote back, “Hey, didn’t mean to creep you out, just though we kinda shared a chemistry.”

The woman thought it was a gross intrusion of her privacy but the Canada Border Services Agency would not respond to inquiries from the Sun about the case, if the guard was still working there, let alone disciplined.
