New money saving website adds Vancouver

Vancouver (NEWS1130) – For those still grumbling about the HST, a new website is offering steep discounts at local stores. Living Social launched Tuesday in Vancouver.
The company is less than a year old and is now operating in 52 cities, mainly in the U.S.
Local sales rep Carlie Smith says the idea is to get people into their communities and visiting businesses they might not have checked out before, all with the promise of saving money. “So we want it to be a really compelling offer. So it’s going to be at least 50-per cent off in terms of savings and it’s an opportunity for our customers to go out, try it. “
A new company will be featured every day, Monday to Friday.
