The air is a little stuffier today

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – Some overnight precipitation may be the cause of what feels like extra humidity in the air.

Environment Canada meteorologist Doug Lundquist says a few showers last night are evaporating, but it’s not unusual for the air to feel this way. “That’s not likely to change. August is probably the month with the highest relative dew points. With more showers coming towards the weekend it will certainly remain high – the relative humidity –  if not higher.”

He says we may be feeling the difference a little more strongly because of the dry, warm weather we became used to last month.
