BC Lions get through to fight for another game

By

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – In their biggest game of the season thus far, the BC Lions beat the Saskatchewan Roughriders 23-17.

It was a fourth quarter touchdown pass from Travis Lulay to Steven Black that helped the Lions earn the victory.

BC’s defense also came up big when they had to make plays all afternoon long and not giving Riders’ quarterback Darian Durant much breathing room.

In order for the BC Lions to clinch the final playoff spot, they must win next week’s game in Hamilton and they will also rely on Saskatchewan Roughriders to beat the Edmonton Eskimos.
