VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – The BC Lions have cut three veteran players as the team prepares to open 2011 training camp in Kamloops.  Offensive lineman Joe McGrath, receiver O’Neil Wilson and defensive lineman Jeremy Geathers have been released by the club.

The Lions also added two new players on defense.  Import linebackers Ronnie McCullough and Tyrell Graham have joined the Leos.  McCullough played two seasons at Florida’s Bethune-Cookman University after transferring from South Florida.  Graham played two seasons at the University of Houston where he led the Cougars in tackles in his senior year.

Coach and general manager Wally Buono is expected to release his final 75-man training camp roster by the end of the week.  Rookies report to training camp in Kamloops on June 5.
