VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – The Canucks will now sit back and watch the Eastern Conference Final to see who they play in the Stanley Cup Final.

Game Six in the East goes tonight in Tampa Bay with the Lightning trailing the series 3-2 to the Boston Bruins. The Canucks will use the time off to rest numerous bumps and bruises.

Injured defensemen Christian Ehrhoff and Aaron Rome can use the days off to get healthy. Both were hurt in Game Three of the Western Conference Final against San Jose. Neither of the two played in Games Four or Five.

Ehrhoff practiced two days ago but did not hit the ice yesterday; Rome has not been active at all since pick up his injury. Ehrhoff has a shoulder injury while the Canucks will say only that Rome has an upper body injury.

Ryan Kesler hurt his leg in the second period of Game Five last night against the Sharks but finished the game. Number 17 would not talk about his injury to the media after the game.

Vancouver will now try to become the first Canadian team since 1993 to win the Stanley Cup. Ottawa was the last Canadian team in the Cup final when they lost to the Ducks in 2007.
