Man in critical condition after stabbing in Burnaby

BURNABY (NEWS1130) – RCMP are trying to piece together what led to a man being stabbed in Burnaby earlier this morning.

Sgt Stephen Brossard says Mounties were first called to a home on Imperial Street near Canada Way around 1 a.m. after reports of a fight involving 20 people. After breaking up the fight, they found a man was suffering from stab wounds.

He is in hospital in critical condition.

The RCMP’s Serious Crime Unit is investigating. No one in custody at this time.

Name and age of the victim are not being released at this time.
