NORTH VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – RCMP are wrapping things up in North Vancouver, after a dropped 911 call had prompted heavily armed officers to surround a townhouse.
Officers from an Emergency Response Team were at the home along Mount Seymour Parkway.
Cst. Geoff Harder says at this point they don’t know if anyone was even inside the home or if weapons were involved.
“We’ve dealt with the adjacent neighbours and neighbouring units, everyone in the area is safe, the area is contained, and until we can enter in safely, we won’t know what we have.”
People are now allowed to return to their homes.
