VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – A Vancouver hotel is offering a world-first. The Opus Hotel is now giving every guest an iPhone for their stay.

Guests of the Yaletown rooms will now find an iPhone on their bedside table, free for them to use without roaming charges as they explore our city.

“We’ve done our homework and we believe we’re the first hotel in the world to have an iPhone in every single room with the full-functioning capability that we’re offering. It’s exciting times,” says General Manager Nicholas Gandossi.

He believes this is the way forward for all hotels. “In the hotel world, technology is sexy; it keeps you ahead of the curve if you are able to offer more ways for the guests to interact with the property and with the city.”

Gandossi believes one day, all hotels will focus on the mobile aspect of info for tourists.
