Toddler falls three stories out of Surrey apartment

SURREY (NEWS1130) Another reminder to watch your children around open windows.
A toddler has fallen three stories out a Surrey apartment window on 75A near Scott Road this afternoon.
Sgt. Warren Tyson says parents should always watch their children around screen windows during these summer months.
“The mom was, I think, distracted in the kitchen,” he says. “She was cooking, I believe, and he was just pressed up against the screen and he tumbled out onto some bushes and he was taken to hospital.
He says the three-year-old was conscious and screaming as ambulance services arrived.
Amazingly, the three-year-old appears to have no injuries at this time.
