ABBOTSFORD (NEWS1130) – A convicted child-sex tourist is moving to Abbotsford, and police are issuing a warning specifically to women and children.

Donald Bakker, 48, was already the subject of a warning by Vancouver Police in June when he moved there. Now he’s moving to Abbotsford.

He’s recently finished serving seven years for abusing young girls abroad in Cambodia, and has also been convicted of viciously attacking three women in Vancouver’s sex trade.

Bakker is 5’6″ and weighs 155lbs. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

Police say Barker is to follow specific conditions:

  • No direct or indirect contact with anyone under the age of 18
  • Not to attend public parks or public swimming areas where children under 18 years of age could be
  • No contact with sex trade workers
  • Not to possess any weapons as defined by the Criminal Code
  • Abide by a curfew of 11 p.m. to 6 a.m.

If you see Bakker in violation of any of the conditions, you’re asked to call local police or the Abbotsford Police Department at 604-859-5225.
