Certain Highline Mushrooms’ sliced white mushrooms may contain listeria: CFIA

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is warning the public not to consume certain Highline Mushrooms’ sliced white mushrooms because they may be contaminated with listeria.

The affected products are:

They are sold in 227-gram containers bearing lot code L410805 followed by a four-digit time code (e.g., L4108051420) and a best before date of 12AU15.

The products have been distributed in Ontario and may have been distributed nationally.

There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of these products.

Highline Mushrooms, based in Leamington, Ont., has voluntarily recalled the affected products from the marketplace.
