What’s open and what’s closed Thanksgiving Monday

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – Looking to get out and walk off that turkey dinner? Or maybe something to do with kids before dinner? Here’s the scoop on what’s open and what’s closed.

The Greater Vancouver Zoo and the Vancouver Aquarium are both open regular hours. All library branches, banks, city halls and Canada Post locations are closed but most malls are operating on Sunday hours.

If you’re planning on going to the U.S. during the holiday, border wait time information is available on the CBSA web site

If you’re planning your turkey dinner commute via public transit, the SkyTrain, SeaBus, and buses are all running on Sunday hours so be sure to leave some extra time. The West Coast Express will be back up and running on Tuesday.

Many restaurants and shops will be closed, so it’s best to call ahead.
