Motorhome charred by fire in Lougheed Mall parking lot

BURNABY (NEWS1130) – Some visiting Albertans are going to have  to find another way home, after their motorhome caught fire at Lougheed Mall Saturday afternoon.

Constable Kiel Meagher with Burnaby RCMP says it was fully engulfed in the flames by the time firefighters arrived.

“We are suspecting it could have been a generator that was left on that overheated in there. We are not suspecting anything suspicious here.”

The owners of the RV would have been in for a shock, as they weren’t there when it caught fire.
