Members of ’94 Canucks team reuniting this spring

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – There will be a treat for Canucks fans at the Heritage Classic at BC Place this March.

The club is reuniting its 1994 Stanley Cup Final team.

Sixteen of the players from that season will be in attendance at the game against Ottawa. Among them are Trevor Linden, Geoff Courtnell, Greg Adams, Kirk McLean, Cliff Ronning and Jryki Lumme.

Several big names are missing, including Pavel Bure.

Martin Gelinas and Brett Hedican will also be missing. Gelinas is an assistant coach with Calgary, and Hedican is an announcer with San Jose.

The players and personnel who will be in town are also expected to make a few surprise appearances in Vancouver in the days leading up to the Heritage Classic on March 2nd at BC Place.
