North Delta hockey coach fired over pro-Nazi Facebook posts

NORTH DELTA (NEWS1130) – A North Delta hockey coach has been fired over posts on his Facebook page.

Pro-Nazi posts could be seen on Christopher Sandau’s profile, before it was abruptly taken down.

The posts date back months and include things like a Swastika on a red background with a caption “if this offends you, you need a history lesson.”

There was another photo of an astronaut on the moon giving the Nazi salute to the party’s flag.

A message accusing Jewish people of controlling the financial system and the media could also be seen.

The North Delta Minor Hockey Association decided to suspend Sandau after the anti-Semitic posts came to their attention.

He coached players 11 to 14 years old.

Parents of the children involved on the two teams affected have been informed and alternate coaching arrangements have been made.
