Three people hurt in Abbotsford hit and run

ABBOTSFORD (NEWS 1130) – Three people have been rushed to the hospital after a hit and run in the Fraser Valley early this morning.
It happened at the intersection of Dahlstrom Place and George Ferguson Way in Abbotsford.
Constable Ian Macdonald with Abbotsford Police says they’ve found the van involved (a white 1997 Plymouth Voyager), but not the driver.
He says that suggests the vehicle may have been stolen or the driver was drunk. “Unfortunately, when people don’t remain at scene, often there is a nefarious reason behind that.”
“We have evidence at the scene, we’re gathering video from the aarea, we’re canvassing and appealing to witnesses, and we will speak to the injured parties,” he adds.
The three people who were hit are expected to be okay.
