Serious crash claims the life of Langley man, injures woman

SURREY (NEWS 1130) – A man from Langley has been killed and a woman has been taken to hospital in serious condition after a crash in Surrey last night.
Mounties were called to 8th Avenue and 172nd Street just after 9pm to deal with a crash involving a motorcycle and a car. The car was driving on 8th Avenue, turning left on 172nd when it collided with the motorcycle.
The two people on the motorcycle were thrown.
A 32-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene, while a woman was rushed to hospital.
Speed and alcohol don’t appear to be factors. Mounties are asking any witnesses to give them a call.
