Dewdney Bridge re-opens to traffic

MISSION (NEWS 1130) – The Dewdney Bridge in Mission has re-opened to traffic.
The Ministry of Transportation has had crews working round the clock since the span on the Lougheed was closed on Thursday.
Engineers say a piling under the bridge shifted and caused the deck to dip almost 25 centimetres.
Drive BC says the route that connects Hope has re-opened to single-lane alternating traffic, meaning drivers can stop taking the 90-minute detour along Highway 1.
