Search for missing Colony Farm patient moves to Alberta

COQUITLAM (NEWS 1130) – The hunt for the missing Colony Farm patient responsible for a carjacking involving a Vancouver actress seven years ago has moved to Alberta. Lethbridge Police have warned the public he has a history of violence.

David Fomradas failed to return to his housing program February 10th.

This is the second time he has gone missing from Colony Farm. He went missing for over two years the first time. He walked away from Colony Farm first in 2012 and was missing for over two years, prompting a review of the entire unescorted day pass program.

Coquitlam RCMP Constable Jamie Phillipson says Fomradas was found in Lethbridge the first time. “He was located by Lethrbidge Police in September of 2014. We do believe Mr. Fomradas does have links to Albert and the Lethbridge area.”

He says Fomradas can be violent if he isn’t taking medication.
