Five BC Ferries sailings cancelled this weekend due to damaged vessel

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – BC Ferries has pulled the Spirit of Vancouver Island from service between the Mainland and Victoria after it was damaged while docking in Tsawwassen yesterday during the windstorm.

The damage is being described as minor.

The Coastal Celebration will be pulled in to cover the Spirit of Vancouver Island’s sailings.

That means five sailings the Celebration would normally have made this weekend have been cancelled.
