One man in hospital following fire at Langley grow-op

LANGLEY (NEWS 1130) – A fire at a home in Langley at about noon has seriously injured a man.

Firefighters say it was started with a small explosion at the house on 204th near 76th.

“Two males where located who’d been inside the residence at the time of the fire. One of those males suffered serious injured and was airlifted to hospital,” shares Sergeant Alexandra Mulvihill with Langley RCMP.

She says there was a grow-op in the house.

“The members are just trying to determine whether or not it was a licensed grow-op through Health Canada and then from there that will determine where they go in regards to any further investigation.”

A second man in the home at the time was not injured, and is being interviewed by police.
