Man in hospital after East Vancouver shooting

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – A shooting last night near East 3rd Avenue and Templeton Street has sent a 27-year-old man to the hospital in serious condition. It happened at around 11:30pm.

He was found shortly afterward at Commercial Drive and East 1st Avenue in the driver’s seat of his vehicle suffering from gunshot wounds but is expected to survive his injuries.

VPD investigators will spend the day processing the two crime scenes. No arrests have been made but officers believe this was a targeted attack.
