Three arrested after fatal shooting in Abbotsford

ABBOTSFORD (NEWS 1130) – One man is dead, and three more are under arrest after a shooting this morning in Abbotsford’s Townline Hill neighbourhood.
Police say it happened on Steelhead Court, near the intersection of Mt. Lehman Road and Blueridge Drive.
Officers arrived at around 9:40 a.m. to find a man in his mid-20’s shot multiple times. He died at the scene.
A suspect vehicle was later seen speeding away from the area. Police chased it into Mission, where it ran over a spike belt.
Three men have been arrested.
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team has taken over the investigation.
The Townline Hill area has been the epicentre of a violent gang conflict, though police have not said if this shooting is believed to be connected.
