Deadly accident in Coquitlam

COQUITLAM (NEWS 1130) – There’s been a deadly rollover accident in one of the Tri-Cities this morning.
Dewdney Trunk Road remains closed after that the rollover.
It happened just after 4 a.m. Friday says RCMP Staff Sgt. Jack Raffle.
“Coquitlam RCMP were advised of a single-vehicle collision on Dewdney Truck, just past the S-curve section there. When we arrived there was a vehicle that apparently flipped.”
The driver, a man in his 60s died while his wife was taken by ambulance to the hospital, though Raffle says her injuries weren’t all that serious.
He says it’s possible the man suffered some kind of medical situation before the accident, but crash investigators still have to sort that out.
Raffle adds the roads were pretty slick at the time.
