VANCOUVER – The first hiccup has occurred for the operators of a private passenger ferry service slated to run between downtown Vancouver and Victoria’s Inner Harbour.
A release says the V2V Empress will not begin service until mid-May, at least two weeks after its planned May 1st launch date.
The delay follows sea trials conducted over the last several days, and a release from the company says further training will be offered to its on-board team.
The release says passengers who’ve already booked trips for the first two weeks of May will be given refunds and offered other travel alternatives.
