VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – Vancouver homicide detectives have made an arrest in last week’s double homicide at 1835 Morton Avenue.
Leonard Landrick, 73, was arrested last night in relation to the deaths of 57- year-old Sandra McInnes and 51-year-old Neil Croker on July 9th.
The victims’ bodies were found in the same apartment next to English Bay on July 9th.
“Both victims and the accused were residents of the building at that location,” explains Sgt. Jason Robillard with the Vancouver Police Department. “As this case is now before the courts, there is no further information to release at this time.”
Police aren’t commenting on the specifics of the murders or whether anyone involved has a prior criminal record, but they do say Landrick is the only suspect.
“I don’t have that information right now what their relationship was, I haven’t looked into the file that much but I know that that will all form part of the investigation and will be presented in court.”
Landrick is facing a pair of second degree murder charges related to the deaths.
