Body found at scene of Langley grass fire

LANGLEY (NEWS 1130) – The Langley RCMP Serious Crime unit is investigating after a body was discovered by crews putting out a grass fire early this morning.
The Langley Fire Department was extinguishing flames in a field on Glover Road near the Langley Bypass about 2:00 a.m. when the dead person was found.
Langley RCMP Serious Crime has assumed conduct of the investigation and has cordoned off the area.
Langley RCMP says there is limited information about what caused the fire and the identity of the deceased.
