Abbotsford police find decomposed body in abandoned home

ABBOTSFORD (NEWS 1130) – Abbotsford Police are asking for assistance after finding a badly decomposed body at an abandoned home on Friday.
The house on McCallum Road, near Gillis Ave, was in a state of disarray, was unsecured and without power.
Police searched through the home at 11:30 p.m. on Friday, and found the body in a bedroom. The body was in an advanced stage of decomposition.
The Abbotsford Police Department’s Major Crime Unit and the Coroner are trying to determine the cause of death and the direction of the investigation.
